Working Pattern: 35 hours per week, across 4.5 days
Rate:
* £33.00 per hour (Umbrella)
* £24.66 per hour (PAYE)
Responsibilities
* As Workshop Controller, you\'ll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our busy equipment maintenance workshop. You\'ll ensure that all work is carried out efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards, supporting both military and civilian fleet requirements.
* Manage and coordinate workshop activities, ensuring optimal productivity and workflow.
* Allocate jobs to technicians based on skill and availability.
* Monitor job progress and ensure timely completion.
* Maintain high standards of health & safety and compliance.
* Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers.
* Support and mentor workshop staff, fostering a positive team environment.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a workshop controller or supervisory role.
* Strong technical knowledge of equipment maintenance and repair.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Ability to lead and motivate a team.
* Experience working in a military/aerospace environment is desirable but not essential.
Security requirements
* Must have the right to work in the UK
* Ability to obtain BPSS clearance
