Long Term On-Going Booking £14.40 per hour PAYE Our partner school in Chelmsford is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work one-to-one with an incoming student from September for a few hours daily to help with integration and then aiding across the school where needed for the rest of the school day. Non-verbal student with ASD incoming to Reception. Awaiting EHCP, the student presents with some challenging behaviour linked to communication, however they are transitioning from a nursery environment so are used to being away from parents. A small school in the heart of Chelmsford, there is limited car parking but there is easy access from town walking or by public transport. Paid trial available asap as the school looks to appoint quickly We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to be responsible for creating a positive and safe learning environment to nurture learners’ development. This role will require you to: * Support non-verbal ASD Student * To have a passion for and expertise in SEN * To Support the class teacher and SENCo * Have flexibility to work with other students as needed Successful candidates will be required to have an enhanced DBS on the update service, right to work in the UK and a minimum of two references.
