Job Title: Retail Account Manager
A Little Bit About Our Team
The Global Retail & Licensing team service the merchandise interests of Warner Music Group's (WMG) artists, as well as 'Third Party' artists and licenses. We live at the crossroads of music and fashion. The team is commercially focused, and you will be working with the Senior Director of Retail to grow key retail accounts, support the broader team, and take the business to the next level.
Your Role
You will be working with the biggest retailers in the world such as ASOS, Zara, Bershka H&M, and Primark - as well as best in class retail and licensing partners. You will be working with industry leading buyers, designers, manufacturers and brand managers in a very entrepreneurial environment. You will also be working with legal, finance and supply chain as a key member of staff in a fast-growing area of the broader WMG business. At Warner Music you will not be working in a siloed environment, you will be exposed to cutting edge conversations around innovation and new business as well as immersing yourself with the hottest developing, developed and catalogue artists.
Here You'll Get To
You will work in a commercial and entrepreneurial environment
You will be responsible for managing and driving a large part of the business units' sales
You will prepare and lead regular in person and virtual presentations
You will present our business and artists to potential partners and brands. You will make direct sales into the accounts
You will send briefs to designers' and work with brand managers and artist to get artist approvals
You will give regular sales updates to internal stake holders
You will liaise with various internal business units to gather information and brainstorm how to hit our KPI's
You will identify new business opportunities for artists' management approval
You will prepare financial models for all aspects of your work
You will give regular sales forecasts and play a part in retail merchandise A&R
About You
You can demonstrate experience working in an account manager or B2B sales role
You have experience working in the retail industry
You have above average analytical, communication and Google Sheets skills
You will proficient in Google Slides or similar
You are passionate and self-motivated
You will be meticulous and organised
You enjoy hitting targets and are a goal orientated self starter
We'd Love It If You Also Had
Relationships with and contacts at high street retailers
Higher Education – Degree Level or above
Previous experience working with licenses
