About the Role
Leicestershire Youth & Justice Service are proud to recruit two Youth Workers for an exciting new pilot project – Prevention Partnerships (Panels). These panels are part of the Government’s Young Futures Programme, under the Safer Streets mission, aiming to prevent and reduce anti-social behaviour (ASB), knife crime, and violence against women and girls (VAWG) through earlier intervention and support.

We need workers who will think creatively and can work in a fast-paced and intensive environment. You may need to work some evenings and occasional weekends to ensure that children are supported. Service Overview
Leicestershire Youth & Justice Service is an ambitious, vibrant and forward-thinking service focused on supporting children towards their brighter futures. The Youth & Justice Service is a dedicated service for children aged 11+ who need support. We offer a wide range of non-statutory and statutory interventions to children who require support beyond universal services. We have strong relationships with wider services and partnerships to jointly deliver the best possible support and care.

In Youth & Justice, we are committed to the voice and participation of the children who access our services. We involve children in decision making across our service. You will be interviewed by our children, who will have an equal part in selecting the best people to join our team.
