In this role, you’ll play a key part in not just managing but improving our IT infrastructure, supporting major incidents, handling day-to-day requests, and ensuring smooth problem resolution across the business. Key Responsibilities: Maintain, monitor, and support the company’s core IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, and cloud environments. Ensure system reliability, availability, and performance through proactive monitoring and maintenance. Oversee and maintain virtualization platforms (Hyper-V) and cloud services (e.g., Microsoft Azure). Act as a point of escalation for complex technical issues raised by the Service Desk. Maintain and create knowledge base articles to support Service Desk Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to deliver infrastructure-related projects on time and within scope. Cross Team collaboration(Service Desk, QA, Development) Create and update knowledge base articles for internal IT teams. Stay current with new technologies and recommend solutions that enhance reliability, performance, or efficiency. Technical Competencies & Required Skills Essential: Advanced Windws Service Troubleshooting Advanced Azure/Intra, IaaS, PaaS knowledge with key troubleshooting and investigation experience Knowledge of backup solutions and maintenance Virtualization Platform Management for Hyper-V Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g. PRTG) Storage management (SAN, NAS, iSCSI) Enhanced Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, firewalls) Endpoint management (Intune, SCCM, or similar tools) PowerShell scripting for automation and administration Desirable : SQL Understanding and Queries, execution of pre-defined or parametrised queries Experience managing and maintaining warehousing systems Understanding of cybersecurity principles (patching, endpoint protection, MFA, zero trust) What can we offer you: Discretionary company performance related bonus.
