Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As a Sous Chef, you will assist the Head Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation. Duties
* Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring effective team management and collaboration.
* Assist in food preparation and cooking, maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.
* Oversee daily food production, ensuring all dishes are prepared on time and to specification.
* Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive learning environment.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations.
* Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings.
* Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety standards throughout the kitchen.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
* Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
* Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills.
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: £15.50-£18.50 per hour
