We are currently seeking an individual to join our team as a Kitchen Assistant.
Trem y Mor supports individuals with complex disabilities, it is a purpose built 16 bedroom respite unit and day service. The service is in an enviable position on the Aberavon promenade with uninterrupted views of the sea.
The Hospitality team are a team of 5, working together to provide high quality meals for the individuals that access the service.
Responsibilities
As a Kitchen assistant, you will work part of a team and be able to work in accordance with the agreed schedule. Comply with food safety regulations and maintain high standards.
* Assisting the cook in preparation of high quality meals
* Washing up
* Cleaning the kitchen and equipment
* Serving meals
* Preparation of simple varied meals
* Contribute to the smooth running of the service and maintain hygienic conditions within the kitchen
There are no formal qualifications required for this post; training will be provided.
