What you’ll be doing: Line manage the planners, ensuring resources are scheduled efficiently to ensure delivery of a customer focused Greatwell Works, Greatwell and Greatwell Heating, maximising opportunities to achieve improved VFM and high levels of customer satisfaction. Supervise the planning of Voids resources, whilst working with the wider organisation in line with the void procedure. To support the Planning & Operational Support Manager with the handling of repairs- related concerns, complaints, disrepair cases and ombudsman cases. Support the Planning & Operational Support Manager to develop and successfully implement service plans, monitoring customer satisfaction, maximising the effectiveness, and most efficient use of operative time and materials through the planning function. Monitor service from oversight of systems, ‘widgets and reporting from Clearview to ensure that all performance targets are met. Continually build capability and knowledge for the Planning Team to identify risks, trends, and opportunities to develop the service. Ensure that team is multi-functional, and a consistent service can be always provided. Contribute to the development of relevant software ensuring business efficiencies and benefits are realised. Ensure Value for Money is achieved by utilising new system capabilities. About you: Experience of working in a repair planning and scheduling role, ideally within an in-house repairs service or commercial contractor. Experience of working in an administrative role managing housing and repairs systems/databases such as Orchard and Service Connect. Experience of managing and developing a planning function within a customer focused repairs environment. Able to work in a busy and reactive team, be adaptable, and customer focused and can manage own time and priorities positively. Experience of collating and interpreting management information ensuring data integrity at all times. It would be desirable if you had knowledge of products/materials used in property repairs and maintenance It would be fantastic if you had a working knowledge and experience of schedule of rates and a good understanding of repairs and maintenance terminology.
