Overview
SHYPS seeks applications for a Consultant Histopathologist who is interested in joining a small, enthusiastic team of consultants based at York Hospital.

Qualifications
* FRCPath (or equivalent) and listed on the Specialist Register, or within 6 months of CCT at the time of interview if in a training programme.
* All other categories of doctors must be on the Specialist Register in accordance with consultant appointment regulations.
* Established skills, demonstrable interest and experience in histopathology.
* Strong commitment to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching is desirable.
Responsibilities
* Reporting service for a team of highly experienced Consultants.
* Participation in the postgraduate training programme, supporting medical and dental trainees.
* Present a 10‑minute presentation at the panel interview and attend a technical specification interview prior to the panel interview date.
* Assist in implementing and deploying digital pathology in partnership with NPIC.
