Paint Engineer (Training into Process Engineering)
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + Progression + Great Training + 25 Days Holiday + Pension + Days Based
Location: Commute from Glasgow, Larkhall, South Lanarkshire, Cumbernauld, Coatbridge, East Kilbride, Carluke, Lanark, and surrounding areas

This company is a multi‑site manufacturing company that specialises in the automotive sector. Due to continued growth they are looking to develop process engineers for the painting facility. There is an exciting role where you will make a major contribution while developing your skills to become a fully fledged process engineer with expertise in continuous improvement, building a long‑lasting career for the long term.
You will be responsible for overseeing and improving the factory’s painting processes, ensuring products are finished correctly and consistently. You’ll support new product launches and use data to drive continuous improvement.
If you have experience in the painting/coating process within manufacturing, this role would suit you. Any process engineering/continuous improvement knowledge is beneficial but full training on this aspect of the role will be given.
Responsibilities
* Mon‑Thu 08:15‑17:00, Fri 08:15‑13:30
* Improve paint processes
* Ensure high quality and efficiency
* Support new product launches
Qualifications
* Experience in industrial painting, coating (e.g., powder coating) or related industries
* No process engineering knowledge required (though beneficial)
