About the role
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, reliable technician to support the Science Department. You should be organised with knowledge of Health and Safety and the ability to prepare, store and dispose of chemicals safely in a laboratory environment. Responsibilities will include helping across the science department at Moulsham High School with a range of duties. You will need to provide relevant equipment, resources, and chemicals to support classroom practical lessons, plus the setting up of apparatus as requested. Responsibilities
* Provide relevant equipment, resources and chemicals to support classroom practical lessons.
* Set up apparatus as requested for lessons.
* Prepare, store and dispose of chemicals safely in a laboratory environment.
* Assist across the Science Department as required.
Work Schedule
37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 08:30 – 16:30, Friday 08:30 – 16:00. Term Time plus inset days.
