About the role
Our ecommerce team are currently looking for a Trading Assistant to join them, where you'll be setting up Matalan's products on our website, working on key product visual merchandising and analysing results of placements.
You'll have the support within this junior role to really make an impact on how our products are showcased to our customers, to drive sales and website visitors.
Key responsibilities include:
* Management of pages and visual merchandising of products within your category to maximise sales
* Utilising customer segmentation and how different audiences shop online, adapting strategies to align with this
* Reviewing competitor activity and trends to ensure we are always one step ahead
* Tracking online behaviour and trading tactics to further sales performance
* Review site for any errors or improvements
* Manage the set-up of online promotions to ensure efficiency
* Work closely with the marketing, buying and merchandising teams for key projects
About You
* Relevant degree or experience within the marketing or ecommerce space
* An understanding of retail with a passion for multi-channel marketing
* IT literate - Microsoft Office Suite
* Positive can-do attitude
