These are exciting opportunities to work on high-profile programmes, where you’ll play a key role in shaping successful outcomes across the system development lifecycle.
As the Lead Systems Engineer, you will drive project execution across the full systems lifecycle and act as the key technical interface with the customer. This role demands a confident leader who brings commercial awareness, technical breadth, and the ability to manage scope and stakeholder expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage full system development lifecycle: requirements analysis, VCRI, design modifications, integration, and formal acceptance.
* Define and control Systems Engineering task outputs (Definition of Done).
* Lead technical discussions and assertively manage scope creep and evolving customer demands.
* Deliver high-quality, formal engineering documentation in line with defence industry standards.
* Guide, support and collaborate with a team of engineers and stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate:
* High level of commercial awareness and stakeholder engagement skill.
* Comfortable with ambiguity and able to drive clarity and progress.
* Proactive, pragmatic self-starter with a firm but collaborative approach.
