Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tool Setter to join our clients manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and maintaining tools and machinery to ensure efficient production processes. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical background and experience in fabrication, CAD, and materials handling. The successful applicant will contribute to maintaining high standards of quality and safety within our workshop environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Set up and calibrate various tools and machinery, including milling machines and other fabrication equipment.
2. Adjust tooling to meet specifications using hand tools and precision measuring devices.
3. Monitor machine operations, troubleshoot issues, and perform basic maintenance to minimise downtime.
4. Interpret technical drawings and CAD files, including SolidWorks models, to ensure accurate tool configuration.
5. Handle materials safely within the warehouse environment, ensuring proper storage and movement of components.
6. Assist with assembly tasks as required, ensuring parts are correctly fitted and assembled according to specifications.
