About the role

As ourEnvironmental Assistant Team Leader, you will:

* Lead a flexible and responsive multi-disciplinary team to ensure the environmental quality of all Vico Homes neighbourhoods is maintained to a high standard.
* Support the team by planning work such as garden clearances, litter picking, clearing rubbish, chainsaw work, tidying communal land and checking areas regularly to maintain high standards.
* Work with internal teams, external partners, and contractors to coordinate and deliver estate-based environmental services.
* Respond to emergency situations, including out-of-hours work as needed, and participate in a standby/call-out rota during periods of adverse weather.
* Develop and manage a cost-effective and efficient Environmental Team, focused on delivering positive outcomes for our estates.
* Ensure full compliance with health and safety requirements, including training, machinery servicing, fleet management, and daily equipment checks.
