Our Insights and Analytics team plays a vital role in guiding business strategies and decisions, with the consumer at the center of our growth strategy.
This role will lead insights for part of the QMS&S core portfolio, reporting to the Head of Insights-Savoury. You will serve as the voice of the consumer for brands like Batchelors and Nissin, collaborating closely with brand, innovation, and commercial teams to guide strategy and project execution, unlocking the full potential of our innovation pipeline both short and long term.
You should be passionate about understanding consumer behavior, decision-making, and motivations, and able to confidently present insights and recommendations to stakeholders, even when they challenge senior leadership priorities. You will also influence testing methodologies, seek out new agencies, and develop best practices within the insights team.

What we need from you
* Ideally, FMCG research experience, gained client-side or agency-side. Food industry experience is a significant plus.
* A passion for understanding consumers and representing their voice within the business.
* Highly numerate, capable of synthesizing data from multiple sources to tell compelling stories and make actionable recommendations.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience influencing senior stakeholders to implement your recommendations.
* Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
What you'll be doing
* Partner with innovation and marketing teams to build a profitable NPD pipeline and ensure its successful execution.
* Develop and implement ad hoc insights projects for the QMS&S categories, identifying knowledge gaps and delivering research across qualitative and quantitative methods.
* Collaborate with the insights team to shape strategic thinking for Savoury products and their role within the Premier portfolio.
* Lead cross-category thought leadership projects, providing valuable insights beyond your immediate responsibilities.
* Manage agency relationships, overseeing one key supplier.
* Manage the insights budget to maximize the impact of research investments.
* Contribute to the development of our 3-year brand strategy and strategic pillars.
