Clinical Support Worker - Mental Health Team
The Clinical Support Worker will work under the supervision of the Specialist Registered Nurse for Mental Health (RMN) to provide enhanced care for patients with mental health needs or cognitive impairment.
Key responsibilities include supporting patients with cognitive impairment or mental health needs whilst in hospital, providing enhanced care observations, and working collaboratively with the acute health care teams to ensure patients' needs are met.
Qualifications and Experience
Requirements include GCSE Maths and English, with qualifications such as Care Certificate, NVQ level 3/Work-based diploma, or equivalent. Relevant experience of working in a Health or Social Care Environment delivering personal care or healthcare experience is necessary.
* GCSE English and Maths grade C or 4 or Functional skills for English/Maths
* Care Certificate (or willing to work towards)
* 5 GCSE grade 4 or C and above or equivalent
* Evidence of mandatory and statutory essential training skills
* Education and training to NVQ level 3/Work-based diploma or equivalent
