Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy team at HMP Dovegate, a category B Prison located in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire. In this role you will provide the highest standards of healthcare to our patients without compromising efficiency and quality.
Hours
* Monday - Sunday service
* 37.5 hours per week
* Monday to Friday – 6.45am – 6.15pm
* 4 week rolling rota
Salary
Annual salary between £29,264 and £33,510 per annum, depending on experience.

Responsibilities
* Provide outstanding quality patient‑centred care, seeking and acting on patient feedback to personalise care.
* Maintain safe and secure medicines management, ensuring patient records meet agreed standards and SOPs are followed to a high order.
* Deliver non‑judgemental care within the scope of professional standards, including timely medicine administration and cost‑effective prescribing analysis.
* Work as a key member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3, BTEC or equivalent
* Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
* Up to date with Continual Professional Development (CPD)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work unsupervised while following policy and procedures
* Experience in hospital, community or prison environments (ideal but not essential)
