Housing Organisation - Facilities Administrator
We are currently recruiting for a Facilities Administrator for a housing organisation, based in Watford. This is an ongoing temporary role with the potential to become permanent.
* Contract: Ongoing Temporary - Potential to be permanent
* Pay: £16 - £19 per hour (based on £30,000 annual salary), paid weekly via umbrella
* Location: Watford
* Working Model: In the office
Role Details
* Serve as the key contact for all building occupants, providing responsive repairs and maintenance services, organizing contractors as needed, and overseeing postal services.
* Be IT literate, capable of raising purchase orders to manage office supplies.
* Monitor building maintenance, report repairs, conduct inspections, supervise cleaning standards, coordinate with contractors, and assist in project managing building renovations with the property services team.
* Manage day-to-day postal services, including handling all incoming and outgoing mail and courier services.
* Assist in organizing internal and external meetings and manage office consumables and stationary orders.
* Schedule contractor works for building maintenance.
Candidate Requirements
* Positive and proactive attitude towards change.
* Ability to manage and prioritize workload effectively to meet responsive and planned business needs.
* Confident in using IT systems, especially Word and Excel, for data input and retrieval.
* Experience in social housing is essential.
