Southport | £25–£28 per hour
15 hours per week | Immediate Start
Make a real difference by supporting a child who is not currently attending school. This is a 2:1 post, where you will work alongside a tutor who is delivering academic support, providing enrichment, emotional, and behavioural support to help the child engage positively with learning.
What the role involves:
2:1 support alongside an academic tutor
Providing 1:1 enrichment and emotional support
Supporting a child educated outside of mainstream school
Encouraging engagement, regulation, and confidence
Working in home or community settings
Building a positive, trusting relationship
What we’re looking for:
Experience as a Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant
Experience supporting EHCP / SEMH / SEND
Calm, patient, and nurturing approach
Confident supporting behaviour and emotional regulation
DBS (or willingness to apply) & access to transport
