Role – Mechanical assembly engineer
Location – Thetford, Norfolk
Working hours – Monday to Friday, full time
Salary – £30,000 per annum
Capacity – Permanent position
Overview

Responsibilities
* Carry out mechanical assembly and product testing to meet agreed production schedules.
* Assist with design and development projects, including prototype builds and testing.
* Identify and report product or material issues, supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions.
* Maintain accurate production and quality documentation in line with company procedures.
* Follow all Health, Safety and Welfare guidelines, ensuring safe working practices at all times.
Qualifications
* Level 3 Mechanical Engineering qualification (or equivalent hands‑on experience).
* Proven experience in mechanical assembly and testing within a manufacturing environment.
* Strong organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines.
* Practical problem‑solving skills with a proactive approach.
