Overview
Joiner to join our Responsive repairs Team. As a Joiner, you will provide all types of joinery repairs to tenanted properties, with a customer service quality driven repair and maintenance service. You will be covering the Blackburn, Pendle, and Rossendale areas.

Responsibilities
* Carry out all types of joinery repairs to tenanted properties in accordance with job tickets, appointment slots, specifications and contract drawings, to good practice and Building Regulations where applicable.
* Work with an ethos of “Right First Time,” aiming to complete repairs in one visit with high quality workmanship and standard of performance.
* Organise work to minimise lost or non-productive time, and proactively request re-allocation of work when needed.
* Assist in addressing workload peaks by overtime or stand-by/call-out rota as requested by management.
* Use initiative to diagnose and undertake repairs that may differ from the original job, obtaining approvals as appropriate for more expensive or longer-than-expected work.
* Maintain a consistently high standard of workmanship in line with service specifications and safe working procedures, working as part of a team to ensure efficient use of time, materials and resources.
What we’re looking for
* Full manual UK driving licence
* Experience in joinery and related building disciplines, with qualifications as appropriate (e.g., City & Guilds Advanced Craft Certificate in Carpentry & Joinery or NVQ Level 2)
* Experience in a customer service environment
* Experience maximising the number of jobs completed in one visit

* Starting salary: £31,166 per annum

* 27 days annual leave (rising to 32 over 5 years’ service) + bank holidays
* 37 hours per week, scheduled between 08:00 and 19:30 across five days (Mon–Sat). Typical patterns may vary due to business needs.
