Overview
Teaching Assistant (Maternity Coverage) at Jubilee School, Waterlooville. Location: Jubilee School, Waterlooville PO7 7RE. Salary: £22,300 per annum (not pro rata). Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm. Contract: Fixed Term (Until December 2026), Term Time Only. Start: December 2025. UK applicants only. This role does not offer sponsorship.
At Outcomes First Group, we are implementing a 4-Day Working Week (4DWW) trial where you can work one day less each week (or equivalent hours) while receiving full-time pay. 4DWW may be in place already or rolled out in the future, depending on staffing. This is a 4DWW opportunity subject to probation and is not a contractual benefit.
As part of our continued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join our close-knit team at Jubilee School, part of Acorn Education.
Responsibilities
* Provide direct support to pupils, helping them get the most from their education.
* Prepare learning materials and run classroom activities with hands-on involvement and some supervision.
* Support pupils to develop emotionally and physically, guiding their learning journeys and individual development.
* Work as part of a collaborative team, adapting to varied classroom roles indoors and outdoors to meet individual needs.
Qualifications
* Previous experience and/or GCSE English and Maths.
