Responsibilities
The eventual competencies of a Team Leader are as follows;
* Team Supervision: Oversee and coordinate the daily activities of the production team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
* Training and Development: Provide on‑the‑job training to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
* Quality Control: Monitor the production process to ensure that all products meet stringent quality standards and comply with industry regulations.
* Health and Safety: Enforce health and safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees and compliance with relevant legislation.
* Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement within the production process and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
* Reporting: Maintain accurate records of production data, team performance, and any issues that arise, reporting to senior management as required.
* Communication: Serve as a liaison between the production team and upper management, facilitating clear and effective communication.

So it's the above that we will be assessing you against in the recruitment process, as well as the following:
Qualifications and Skills:
* GCSE’s grade C and above in English, Maths and Science is a requirement (Required).
* Relevant certifications in food safety, health and safety, or meat processing (Desired).
Experience:
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (Desired).
* Experience in a supervisory or leadership role (Desired).
