Join the London office of a leading global law firm, known for delivering high-profile, cross-border work across energy, infrastructure and complex development projects. Their Construction team sits at the heart of major deals and negotiations and is now looking for a capable Paralegal to join them on a temporary basis for an initial 3-month contract.
This is a brilliant opportunity to be part of a busy and collaborative team, working directly with partners, associates, trainees and another paralegal on substantial non-contentious construction matters.
What you’ll be doing:
• Drafting and negotiating construction contracts, warranties, bonds and related documents
• Supporting with research, client updates, and team training materials
• Advising on JCT, NEC and FIDIC contracts across major UK and international infrastructure projects
• Managing your own caseload and contributing to wider team initiatives
• Supporting on procurement strategy, contract risk analysis and legal documentation
What they’re looking for:
• Strong paralegal experience in non-contentious construction law
• A solid understanding of JCT, NEC3/4 or FIDIC contracts
• Excellent attention to detail, strong research and drafting skills
• Confident, organised and proactive — someone who can hit the ground running in a high-performing team
• Legal qualifications and prior experience in a law firm or in-house legal setting
The Details:
• Initial 3-month contract, with potential to extend
• £30,000–£35,000 pro rata, depending on experience
• Hybrid working available, based from central London offices
