Job Description
The successful candidate will be the primary contact for key stakeholders, communicating our value proposition and executing the infield brand strategy. You will develop customer relationships and maximize opportunities through strong account planning.
Responsibilities include:
* Driving sales by engaging target healthcare professionals across multiple channels, reflecting customer preferences and utilizing available content.
* Developing SMART pre-call objectives aligned with territory plans and brand strategy.
* Handling objections effectively and initiating impactful discussions with clear calls to action.
* Building peer-to-peer relationships with customers to foster productive discussions and challenge the status quo.
* Educating healthcare providers and decision-makers.
* Identifying and developing disease state experts to build advocacy within the territory.
Market Intelligence and Relationship Management:
* Organizing stakeholder meetings and differentiating AbbVie's value proposition from competitors.
* Adapting communication styles based on customer insights.
Clinical and Market Knowledge Development:
* Gaining deep understanding of products and their role within the NHS healthcare system.
* Navigating NHS ecosystem barriers and identifying collaborative opportunities.
* Sharing best practices and proactively developing growth plans.
* Demonstrating expertise in disease, product, market, and competitive intelligence.
Territory Management:
* Analyzing sales reports and field intelligence to adapt territory plans.
* Collaborating with medical and market access colleagues to support customer needs.
* Developing and executing a business plan aligned with brand strategy.
* Maximizing sales opportunities while adhering to compliance requirements.
Qualifications
* Proven success in pharmaceutical sales.
* Strong communication and customer engagement skills.
* Solutions-focused with a positive attitude.
* Strategic thinking and proficiency in data analytics.
* Excellent team player.
* Experience in Immunology or specialty secondary care is advantageous but not essential.
* High commitment to achieving results and resilience in facing obstacles.
