An award winning, multi-disciplinary consultancy is seeking an Architectural Technologist or Technical Architect to join its Bristol team. * Working collaboratively with Architects and wider design teams to deliver projects from planning through to construction
* Producing high-quality technical drawings, construction packages and detailed design information
* Preparing and coordinating planning applications and Building Regulations submissions
* Developing and managing NBS specifications
* Coordinating technical information with consultants, including structural, civil and MEP engineers
* Attending site visits, design team meetings and liaising with contractors as required
* Supporting projects during construction stages, responding to technical queries and site issues
* Working within JCT and NEC contract frameworks
* Ensuring technical compliance with current Building Regulations and best practice standards
Requirements:
* Relevant qualification in Architectural Technology (HNC / HND / Degree or equivalent)
* Experience working as an Architectural Technologist or Technical Architect within a UK practice
* Strong technical knowledge and ability to produce coordinated construction information
* Revit proficiency is mandatory
* Experience preparing technical details, specifications and regulatory submissions
* Familiarity with JCT and NEC contracts
* Knowledge of NBS specifications
* Ambitious and motivated, with a desire to progress professionally
* MCIAT chartership achieved or working towards (full support provided)
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team
* Proficiency in Revit
