Job Role
* Document the as‑Is end‑to‑end architecture for Term Deposits product variants across onboarding and servicing journeys for UK, Europe, and US banking markets.
* Identify and document all solution components and integration elements supporting client‑facing and employee journeys.
* Produce detailed architecture documentation in Confluence and JIRA following solution‑design patterns, including logical architecture diagrams, sequence diagrams, and data‑flow diagrams.
* Create high‑level designs (HLDs) for banking products such as term deposits, ensuring full coverage of E2E business and technical flows.
* Perform impact assessment of system or process changes across applications and dependent upstream/downstream systems.
* Contribute to multi‑country process and application rationalisation programmes by documenting variations and identifying simplification opportunities.
* Conduct peer reviews with internal teams and client SMEs to ensure accuracy and consistency of architecture artefacts.
* Present solution and architecture documents in design authority forums and incorporate feedback from governance stakeholders.
* Lead workshops with business, technology, and architecture teams to understand the current state and identify candidate applications for future‑state architecture.
* Walk stakeholders (technical and non‑technical) through solution documentation to ensure shared understanding.
* Collaborate with and support team members to deliver high‑quality project artefacts within agreed timelines.
Job Skills
* Strong experience documenting E2E architecture for banking products, specifically Term Deposits.
* Ability to identify solution components, integration touchpoints, and architecture dependencies across large banking ecosystems.
* Expertise in documentation using Confluence, JIRA, logical architecture models, sequence diagrams, and data‑flow diagrams.
* Ability to define and review HLDs and perform system impact assessments.
* Experience working in multi‑country architecture or process rationalisation programmes.
* Strong stakeholder‑management and leadership skills with ability to influence SMEs and senior client teams.
* Ability to conduct peer reviews and represent architecture deliverables in formal design‑authority forums.
* Good understanding of financial services and core banking functions related to Term Deposits.
* Strong communication, presentation, and solution‑walkthrough skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
* Collaborative mindset with the ability to support and guide team members to meet delivery and quality expectations.
