A rare opportunity has arisen for a QC Section Leader to join one of the UK’s largest generic pharmaceutical companies.
Reporting in to the QC Manager, the QC Section Leader will be expected to:
•\tTo manage the analytical testing of solid dose products using HPLC, GC, UV and IR
•\tIn this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of analysts and ensuring that release of our product meet the highest standards of quality and consistency.
•\tTo ensure that all testing is carried out within the requirements of cGMP, ALCOA+, Health and Safety and COSHH.
•\tTo critically review analytical data, and where specifications are met, approve products for further processing.
•\tYou will be a key player in driving continuous improvement and ensuring compliance with industry regulation and company polices.
The successful candidate for the QC Section Leader role will have:
•\tA BSc in Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry or relevant scientific degree, with a significant amount of experience in QC.
