Interior Designer Position
Our client, an established award-winning multi-disciplinary architectural practice based in Sheffield, is seeking a talented Interior Designer to join their team. The successful candidate will collaborate on large-scale projects across various sectors including Residential, Commercial, Leisure, Student Accommodation, and Retail. Experience in Leisure/Sport projects is advantageous.

The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of AutoCAD and SketchUp; Revit knowledge is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities
1. Meet with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budgets.
2. Develop and present space plans considering functionality and aesthetics.
3. Create design concepts, including colour schemes, furniture, lighting, and decorative elements.
4. Present proposals using 2D and 3D renderings, mood boards, and samples.
5. Collaborate closely with architects and other professionals.
6. Select and source materials, furnishings, and accessories aligned with the design and budget.
7. Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation for construction and installation.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in interior design or a related field.
* At least 2 years of industry experience post-degree.
* Strong artistic and creative skills.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp; Revit is a plus.
* Knowledge of building codes and regulations is advantageous.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
* Knowledge of materials, furniture, and colour schemes.
