Description Wadebridge Primary Academy are looking for a lunchtime supervisor to work for 1.5 hours each day across lunchtime 11:30 to 13:00. As a Lunchtime Supervisor, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and enjoyment of children during their lunchtime. You'll supervise pupils in the dining hall and playground. Key Responsibilities: • Supervising children during their lunch break (eating and playing) • Encouraging positive behaviour and good manners • Promoting active and safe play • Reporting any incidents or concerns to school staff What We're Looking For: • Enhanced DBS (on the update service or willing to obtain one) • Some previous experience working with or caring for children (e.g. youth work, schools, clubs, childcare) is desirable • A caring, reliable, and enthusiastic individual • Ideal for someone looking to gain school experience or pursue a career as a Teaching Assistant or in education Why Apply? • Excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a primary school • Short daily working hours that fit around other commitments • Supportive school staff and a friendly working environment • A great stepping-stone into other school-based roles If you are enthusiastic and want to be part of a welcoming team we look forward to hearing from you.
