This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified solicitor or barrister with in-depth knowledge of adult social care law and local government practice. Candidates must be open to participate in round table meetings of the cases Key responsibilities: Provide expert legal advice on adult social care matters, including Mental Capacity Act, safeguarding, ordinary residence, and Court of Protection work. Manage a varied caseload independently, delivering high-quality written and verbal advice to clients and senior stakeholders. Prepare and present cases before the Court of Protection and other relevant forums. Support and collaborate with colleagues across the wider legal services team, ensuring compliance with statutory and policy frameworks.About you: Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX).
