Description
We are recruiting a Compliance Officer at our site in Grantham.
In this role the successful candidate will ensure regulatory compliance and exceptional reporting standards for Enva E-waste England Ltd by supporting internal departments and external stakeholders. the role all involves data management, regulatory submissions, and assisting in audits, helping Enva uphold its commitment to sustainability and the circular economy.
Key Responsibilities
* Populate, validate, and submit data for customer and regulatory reports by required deadlines.
* Implement and maintain reporting systems for new and existing customers.
* Ensure accurate and timely completion of Environment Agency (EA) regulatory submissions.
* Provide administrative support on the Regenerist internal system.
* Assist in EA and customer audits, including preparing and supplying supporting documentation.
* Conduct daily internal and external weighbridge ticket checks.
* Maintain and update internal consignment note models and customer records.
* Manage customer portals, ensuring data is submitted within agreed timelines.
* Provide backup support to the Customer Services and Peace of Mind teams during peak periods or staff absences.
* Perform any additional tasks as directed by the Compliance Manager.
This is not an exhaustive list. You may also be required to carry out any other duties as required by the business that you are qualified/trained in that meet the requirements of this role.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Minimum GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English.
* Additional qualifications in environmental science, data analysis, or business administration are desirable.
* Analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
* Self-starter who can work independently and in a team.
* Adaptability and willingness to support different functions when needed.
* Strong ethical commitment to compliance and sustainability.
