We're now looking for a Production Operator to join our team at our Montrose blending plant. If you're reliable, safety-conscious, and enjoy hands-on work in a team environment —we'd love to hear from you
What you'll do:
As a Production Operator you'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of our fertiliser blending and bagging plant. You'll help ensure products are blended, packaged, and dispatched safely and efficiently to the highest standards.
Your main duties will include:
* Operating blending, mixing, and bagging machinery.
* Loading raw materials and monitoring production batches.
* Performing basic quality checks to maintain accuracy and consistency.
* Using forklifts and other equipment to move and load materials.
* Completing batch sheets and production records accurately.
* Supporting general maintenance and cleaning of plant equipment.
* Following all health, safety, and environmental procedures.
What We're Looking For
* Experience in a manufacturing, agricultural, or industrial environment (preferred but not essential).
* Good practical and mechanical understanding.
* A strong focus on safety, teamwork, and reliability.
* Forklift licence or willingness to be trained.
What We Offer
Starting pay: £13.00 per hour
Graded pay scale with opportunities to progress as your skills develop
Regular hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm (occasional overtime available)
