Location: Weoley Castle

Start Date: September 2025
Hours: Full-time | Term-Time Only - 8.30am - 3.30pm
Salary: £95-£100 per day

Are you passionate about making a real difference in a child’s life? We're seeking a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 Support Assistant to work with a Reception child who has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The role may include personal care, requiring empathy, patience, and sensitivity.

Responsibilities include:

* Providing tailored support to help the child access learning
* Collaborating with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals
* Offering emotional reassurance, structure, and continuity
* Supporting the child's physical needs, including potential personal care

Ideal candidates will have:

* Experience working with young children, preferably with SEN
* A calm, nurturing, and proactive approach
* Willingness to support with personal care if needed
* Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Applicants must have UK school experience, two references, and a full enhanced child DBS or be willing to apply for one.
