Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated Principal Building Control Surveyor to join our Bristol team. The role offers a hybrid working model, typically 3 days in the office or on-site and 2 days at home, depending on project needs.
Responsibilities
* Undertaking plan checks submitted for Building Regulation approval.
* Conducting site visits, preparing reports, witnessing tests (a valid driving license is essential).
* Attending meetings with clients and design teams to provide professional advice.
* Using management systems and complying with the Quality Management System.
* Managing project costs and schedules in accordance with commercial requirements.
Qualifications
MRICS, MCABE, or MCIOB qualification (or working towards it) and experience in a similar role. Ability to register as a Class 2 General Building Inspector is required.
Skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to develop new business opportunities.
