Supply Chain Analyst
Based - Wrexham
Salary - £27k
The successful applicant would work independently supporting multiple departments, reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager.
Qualifications / Skills Candidates should have strong analytical and research skills, ability to make informed decisions and communicate effectively. They should be organised, focused, dynamic and able to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team and prioritise workloads and conclude tasks. There will be a strong element of reporting and gathering information to support multiple departments and problem solve. The candidate will have advanced excel skills. Supply Chain or Purchasing qualifications are desirable.
Main Duties
New Products / LTO's Management
Support on new product roll outs from pricing approval to arrival for
Place initial orders with suppliers, confirming volume, ready dates, forecasts, any specific product
Liaise with suppliers to manage product roll out, aligning with expected/planned roll out Flag any issues for escalation to IPC as required.
Support on new product launches/ LTO's, keeping a record of plan and updating
Communicate to all relevant department's information on any new items or promos
Creating and maintaining Product Records to ensure they are correct, complete and in line with product specifications
Demand Planning - Support on Demand issues:
Being aware of product delays (production, transport) analyse and understand impact in supply Chain
Escalate any potential stock outs to Supply Chain Manager for further action
Liaising with Suppliers and Transport department around delays
Inform Internal Parties as necessary: CS, Operation and Supply Chain Manager
Coordinate with Demand Planning team Intersite transfers
Update weekly RAG Report
Forecast, switchovers
Pricing Analysis
Review/audit product pricing - analyse whether we are meeting expected pallet/volume or haulier Check for any unexpected costs (duty/fuel/surcharges) - Share updates internally for review/action.
Review supplier price changes and ensure system is updated for purchase orders
Analyse rates in place to check for cost savings and efficiencies - Options to increase volumes or change route to market
Put together pricing files for new products - review with SC Manager as required
Update Monthly pricing files with new products/pricing
Review monthly price changes and implement changes

9am to 5pm Monday to Thursday (half an hour lunch break) 8am to 4pm Friday (half an hour lunch break)
