Business Development Executive - Northern Ireland

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Executive to join our Commercial team. This role will specifically work within a Food to Go & Retail Channel and has been identified as a key growth area for Kepak Foods Division over the next 5 years. Territory: Northern Ireland. Reporting to: National Account Manager - Food To Go & Retail.

The Business Development Executive will be required to gain a good understanding of the FTG & Retail market and develop a customer base with a specific focus on the Kepak branded portfolio (Rustlers & Big Als Range). This will involve developing strong relationships with key End-Users and working closely with the relevant Distributor partners including visiting FTG Sites & delis in the Eurospar, Spar, Centra, Supervalu & Independent retailer estates.


Key Responsibilities

* To achieve designated business targets & KPIs within your region
* To identify key customer targets and develop a robust engagement plan to deliver
* To work collaboratively with the distributors' sales teams to ensure all opportunities are maximised
* To develop and successfully implement joint business plans for End-Users and Distributors
* To develop strong business relationships across your region
* To utilise all analytical tools and marketing support in order to help achieve the business objectives
* To ensure all End-Users' requests are dealt with in an efficient manner
* To demonstrate all products to end users & distributors, highlighting features and benefits
* To work closely with the internal Kepak stakeholders to ensure all business development initiatives are executed to the highest standard
* To gather and feedback market intelligence (e.g. competitor activity) on a regular basis


Requirements

* Experience within the FTG / Retail Sector: Deli/Retail/Supermarket Sales is desirable
* 3 years full-time Field-sales experience desirable
* Full clean drivers licence
* Computer literate
* Strong communication and influencing skills
* Determination to achieve and willingness to continually learn
* Problem solving
* Commercial acumen
