Job Overview
We are looking for a Facilities Engineer to deliver excellent service to all internal customers by ensuring that Planned Preventative Maintenance & Reactive Maintenance is carried out to the building and equipment in a safe and efficient manner through the operation of a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS). The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with legislative and Company ethical standards, be proactive in highlighting areas for improvement, and work Monday to Friday 8.00 am - 4.30 pm with potential out of hours work.
Essential Requirements
1. Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Maintenance / facilities engineer
2. Experience in working in a manufacturing building environment (preferable)
3. Strong working knowledge of building maintenance statutory compliance regulations
4. Electrician Level 3 City & Guilds, 18th Edition IET Regulation
5. Proven experience in Electrical & Mechanical Building infrastructure
6. PAT Certificate (Desirable)
7. Experience and knowledge of HVAC systems, plant, and components
8. Experience in contractor management including PTW and reviewing risk assessments
9. Effective management and prioritization of workload
10. Experience of working with 3rd party contractors and vendors
11. Excellent Troubleshoot, fault finding and route cause analysis skills
12. Proactive approach with hands-on experience of carrying out maintenance activities

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include building maintenance and repairs, planning preventative maintenance, assisting in small to medium installation projects, ensuring statutory compliance, maintaining clean work practices, and adhering to health and safety policies.
