Are you an experienced OT or Industrial Cyber Security professional looking to make a real impact within the UK’s critical national infrastructure? We’re supporting a leading organisation in the electricity distribution sector as they expand their OT security capability.
This is a permanent role offering up to £66,000 + 7.5% bonus, extensive benefits, and an opportunity to work hands‑on securing complex SCADA and OT environments that keep the country running.
About the Role
You’ll join a collaborative OT security engineering team working on the design, implementation and support of critical security infrastructure. This includes Fortinet firewalls, Cisco ISE, SIEM, PAM, IDS, endpoint security, SCADA networks and much more.
You’ll play a key role in:
* OT incident response & problem management
* Implementing security improvements across SCADA systems
* Supporting NIS Regulations and NCSC CAF compliance
* Continuous cyber monitoring & root cause analysis
* Working with multiple vendors on new hardware & security tooling
* Maintaining secure WAN/LAN and industrial protocol environments
* Ensuring operational resilience across critical OT systems
What We’re Looking For
* 5+ years in Cyber Security or Network Engineering within OT, IC, or industrial environments
* Strong knowledge of Fortinet, Cisco ISE, VPN, Routing, SIEM, PAM, IDS
* Understanding of DNP3, ICCP, IEC 61850, SCADA & industrial architecture
* Knowledge of NISD, CAF, ISO 27001, IEC 62443, Purdue Model
* Experience securing Windows, Linux, VMware & virtualised environments
* UK national eligible for SC vetting
