Overview of Scheme Coordinator:
Pertemps is offering an exciting opportunity in the London Borough of Harrow for a proactive and motivated Scheme Coordinator to become part of a growing team. This position comes with a competitive hourly rate of £17.66, along with excellent training, career development support, and 21 days of annual leave (excluding Bank Holidays). Please note, this role is fully office-based.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide tenancy-related support and guidance to Tenants, including access to housing services and referrals
* Conduct inspections and upkeep of communal areas within Sheltered Housing schemes
* Address and resolve complex issues affecting Tenants
* Manage payments for services such as Guest Room usage and TV licensing
* Coordinate property repairs and liaise with handy person services
* Organize and encourage social activities, ensuring effective use of shared spaces
* Reduce revenue loss by efficiently managing vacant property viewings and tenancy monitoring
* Support new Tenants during move-in processes, including orientation and resettlement assistance
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
* A solid understanding of Health and Safety regulations relevant to Sheltered Housing
* Proven experience in conducting and managing risk assessments
* A strong commitment to equality and inclusion
* Excellent organizational skills and the ability to act with urgency when required
* Basic proficiency in reading, writing, and numeracy to manage forms and follow instructions
* Substantial experience working with older adults, ideally within a housing or support context
