SALARY: £50000 for the 30-week contract

Role: Site HSE Manager
Contract Duration: Up to 30 weeks
Job Description
The Site Health and Safety Advisor will be a client-facing representative responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting risk assessments and audits to ensure compliance with regulations and company standards. Collaborate with project teams to promote a culture of safety and drive continuous improvement. Investigate incidents and near-misses, providing recommendations for corrective actions. Monitor and report on Health and Safety performance, identifying opportunities for enhancement and promoting a culture of health and safety at all times.
The Site HSE Manager shall have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar position within a heavy industry construction-related environment. The Site HSE Manager shall have an internationally recognized HSE qualification (e.g., NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent) and be fully knowledgeable on applicable legislation, codes, and standards.

Required Qualifications / Experience:
1. Health & Safety and Occupational Health skills
2. Accident Investigation and Safety Training skills
3. Experience in Environment Health and Safety (EHS)
4. NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification
5. Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations
6. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
9. Strong auditing and report writing skills
10. Proficiency in IT applications to enhance efficiency
11. Experience in the fire protection/detection industry is a plus
