Overview
We are recruiting for a Multi Skilled Engineer with Electrical Bias based at our manufacturing facility in Wigan to join our vibrant Engineering and Maintenance Team.
You will be working alongside a team of multi skilled engineers over a 3 weekly rotating shift pattern, with paid overtime, to support our colleagues with both planned and reactive maintenance and repair and upkeep of the facility.
The shift pattern is Monday - Friday and based on the below:
* Week 1 06:00 - 14:00
* Week 2 14:00 - 22:00
* Week 3 22:00 - 06:00

Job requirements
* The person we are looking for will be fully qualified in the electrical bias and ideally comes to us with a HNC or above.
* Previous experience of working in food manufacturing (preferred)
* Testing and inspection qualifications (2391 or 2394-5) (essential)
* 18th Edition wiring regs (essential)
* Strong PLC skills / control systems (knowledge of Allen Bradley and Mitsubishi) (preferred)
* Good understanding of mechanical engineering i.e. pumps, pneumatics, and strong hand skills (essential)
* Completed advanced apprenticeship in either mechanical or electrical engineering (minimum NVQ level 3) Maintenance related ideally (essential)
* IOSH or NEBOSH qualifications (preferred)
* Confined space trained (preferred)
* IPAF trained (preferred)
* Welding qualifications (preferred)
£40,000 - £42,000 per year
