About Us
We are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible person with excellent customer service and administration skills to join the East Neighbourhoods Team working across North Ormesby and Thorntree Community Hubs. Our Community Hubs are at the heart of the community and are home to many different community groups, services, and activities.
As a team member, you will also ensure the building is clean, safe and welcoming, following and undertaking all health and safety protocols, including first aid. You may be asked to work at any of our Community Hubs in Middlesbrough to provide cover if required.
To be successful in this role you need experience of using financial management systems is desirable, as you will be managing petty cash, raising purchase orders, paying and raising invoices using the Business World system.
You will be working on the busy Hub reception, answering phone calls welcoming all visitors, signposting and providing support. You will also provide support to customers wanting to access the library offer at both venues. This will include issuing library books and supporting people to access computers, photocopying and scanning. You will have excellent organizational skills, and will be able to work accurately, as you will be taking room bookings, making client appointments for services and also setting up meeting rooms.
