It is an exciting time to join us at Redmayne Bentley. After recently celebrating our 150th year in business, we are embarking on the next stage of our firm-wide strategy to build, improve and develop upon our strong, historic foundations.
Our Finance team is already playing a critical role in this, and we are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join this dynamic team and add their valuable knowledge and experience to the mix.
Providing essential and valued support to our Finance Manager, you will be helping to ensure our financial and regulatory reporting is accurate and to the highest standards of financial integrity.
Your key responsibilities would be:
* Preparation of Management Accounts, reporting regularly on performance against agreed budgets.
* Supporting the development of budgets and financial forecasts.
* Cost control analysis
* Contributing to the team’s development and preparation of future project business cases.
* Providing insights and analysis to senior management for strategic planning and investment decisions.
* Supporting the team during internal and external audits.
* Acting as primary point of contact for queries relating to Redmayne Capital Limited, including liaising with shareholders, processing dividends and facilitating share transactions.
This is not a client-facing role, your main communications will be with your departmental colleagues and other stakeholders from across the firm.
We are looking for someone who has proven accounting skills who is keen to get stuck in and join a well-established and welcoming team.
Further specific details about the role can be found in the job description attached to this advert.
What we’re looking for
Qualifications and Experience
Essential
* Experience of financial accounting within the financial services sector.
* Experience working as part of team and maintaining positive team culture
Desirable
* Part-qualified or newly qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA)
Skills & Behaviours
* Strong communication and influencing abilities, with the flexibility to adapt style and build strong rapport across diverse stakeholders.
* Resilient under pressure, able to prioritise effectively and deliver high-quality outputs within critical deadlines.
* Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and reliability in all reporting and analytical work.
* Collaborative team player, fostering a supportive environment and encouraging collective success.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and financial systems (Excel, Word, Sage), with strong technical capability to streamline processes and reporting.
* Adaptable and resourceful, applying sound judgement and initiative to solve problems and drive continuous improvement.
What does the future look like?
Once you are settled into the role, you will be able to take on more responsibility within the team and develop your skills and experience further through CPD and other development opportunities.
Redmayne Bentley provides support for colleagues to achieve industry standard qualifications, if that is something they wish to do.
For someone who is keen to progress in this field, there will be developmental and coaching support provided for you to potentially progress into a more senior role in the future.
