proven telesales experience and a strong track record of generating results

In this role you will be responsible for delivering qualified appointments with prospective clients, directly contributing to the ongoing success of the business. While prior experience in financial services is advantageous, it is not essential. Bartlett has a strong history of developing exceptional talent from a variety of sectors, and we provide comprehensive training and support to help our people reach their full potential.
The responsibilities for the role are listed below:
Prospect Marketing
* Develop a thorough understanding of Bartlett's products and services (training is provided).
* Contact pre-identified prospective clients through outbound phone calls, email, LinkedIn, and other marketing channels.
* Support the sales team with marketing projects and campaigns.
* Undertake research into prospective clients prior to initial and follow-up contact.
* Identify and proactively speak to key decision makers to ensure qualified, quality, and productive meetings are set.
* Gather and log relevant information (e.g., renewal dates, existing provider relationships, fees, and other useful details) to assist in prospecting.
* Arrange appointments for designated colleagues, either in person or via introductory Teams calls.
* Ensure an effective and prompt hand-over of prospective client information to the relevant colleague.
* Contribute ideas to new business initiatives and suggest improvements to marketing processes.
Pipeline Management
* Undertake prospect database cleansing activities
* Promptly and accurately update and maintain databases of prospective client data
* Manage a task and diary system, supporting the ongoing contact strategy for the prospective client database
* Ensure that all prospecting interactions are delivered in a timely manner
General Standards
* Maintain KPIs notified by line manager
* Ensure that you treat customers fairly, in accordance with the FCA's TCF principles
* Present a positive and professional image of the Bartlett Group in all dealings with prospective clients, existing clients, suppliers and the public in general
* Maintain a positive and professional working relationships with colleagues
* Manage your own day-to-day activities efficiently and effectively
* Contribute to the smooth running of the department and the company, including participation in the Company's internal audit procedures, where required
* Achieve and maintain the required level of Training & Competence
* To be aware of the relevant FCA regulations and to assist the Company in remaining compliant by working within Company procedures

* Prior experience within a telemarketing to role with demonstratable success
* You are a strong and articulate communicator with a proficient level of written and spoken English and grammar
* You are resilient and tenacious
* You are keen to continually learn and develop your knowledge and skill-set
* Curious to understand, improve and challenge/question where appropriate
* Experience of team environments and an understanding of the importance of the team and how together we will all support each other in being successful
* Being proactive in your thinking and how you can improve work tasks and support our busy team in being more efficient
* Ability to efficiently manage your own workload often without supervision
* Experience of working with CRM databases
* You are proficient in Word and Excel with strong organisational/administrative skills
* Ability to develop, nurture and maintain positive working relationships both internally and externally
