Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled, enthusiastic, well-mannered AV Venue Technician to help us and our customers provide seamless live events. Working with venue operations staff alongside our internal creative and technical teams, you will run the day-to-day events and ensure all equipment is maintained in good operational condition within our venues. You will provide training and support on site during the initial weeks of operation of these new facilities to ensure the site team is confident in operating the new systems and products.
Salary: Up to £33,000 + Company Benefits

Living within commuting distance of Sheffield is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
* Train site staff on daily operations and basic system functions
* Ensure smooth AV event operations at the venue
* Schedule maintenance for AV equipment
* Collaborate with the creative team to test and deliver content in correct formats
* Resolve problems dynamically as they arise
* Document issues and feedback for future improvements
* Communicate with venue staff and customers about services and equipment functionalities
* Assist project teams in productisation efforts within the venue
* Provide feedback to developers and support teams to manage product improvements
* Support the launch of new features and product enhancements
* Assist with Change Management processes
* Identify risks and issues proactively
* Support the team on less busy days
* Maintain stakeholder communication
* Contribute actively within a small, fast-moving team
Required Experience
* Prior AV experience, especially in video and projection, including project management, setup, training, and troubleshooting
* Experience in documenting procedures and training others
* Basic video editing, presentation creation, and Photoshop skills
