Salary: £26,600 pro rata (3 days per week, Term time only) - actual salary £11,600

An Ofsted-rated 'Good' college in Greater Manchester is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join its supportive team. This part-time, term-time only role is ideal for individuals passionate about supporting learners with additional needs, whether you come from an educational background or have experience in care or support roles outside of education.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide tailored support to students with additional learning needs, both in classroom settings and during independent study sessions.
2. Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Learning Plans (ILPs).
3. Collaborate with teaching staff to adapt learning materials and strategies to meet diverse learner needs.
4. Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment that promotes student engagement and progression.
Ideal Candidate Profile
1. Experience supporting individuals with additional learning needs in non-educational settings, such as healthcare or community support roles.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient approach.
