Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Social Worker position for the Child in Need/Child Protection team in Suffolk County Council.
Job Title : Senior Social Worker for Child in Need/Child Protection. team
Location: West Suffolk House, Bury St Edmunds IP333YU -Hybrid, 3 days per week in the office mini-mum
Pay Rate: £36ph-£39ph
Key Expertise & Experience:
Child Protection & Child in Need: Extensive experience conducting assessments, managing complex child protection cases, and providing timely interventions to ensure the safety and welfare of vulnera-ble children.
Duty & Assessment Work: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, duty-based environment while bal-ancing longer-term cases. I have a strong background in managing a high caseload, conducting thor-ough assessments, and ensuring that all cases are managed in line with statutory requirements.
Collaborative Approach: Skilled in multi-agency working, coordinating with partner organizations to create tailored care plans that safeguard children's well-being. My ability to work effectively within a team is one of my core strengths.
Supervision & Mentorship: Experienced in providing supervision and guidance to junior social workers, offering both support and constructive feedback to ensure high-quality, child-focused practice.
