SEND Teaching Assistant – Hillingdon

Full-time | Term Time Only | £90–£110 per day (PAYE)

We are working with welcoming and inclusive schools in the London Borough of Hillingdon, seeking experienced SEND Teaching Assistants to join their teams. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a pupil’s day-to-day school life, while working within a supportive environment.
Your Role Will Include:
* Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups, including those with Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH, and speech & language needs.
* Helping deliver engaging, inclusive lessons in collaboration with the class teacher.
* Implementing strategies outlined in EHCPs and behaviour support plans.
* Providing consistent, nurturing support to help children feel safe and focused.
* Supporting with personal care (where required) and promoting independence.
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience supporting children with SEND in a school or care setting.
* Calm, patient and proactive approach to learning support.
* A genuine passion for inclusion and child development.
* DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* Relevant qualifications such as CACHE Level 2/3, SEN training, or psychology/education degrees are desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
